Sibu Island Memorable

The Sibu Archipelago lies only 30 minutes from the east coast of peninsular Malaysia. The scenic cluster of islands is made up of Pulau Sibu Besar, Pulau Sibu Tengah, Pulau Sibu Hujung, Pulau Kukus and Pulau Tinggi. The archipelago is rich in natural beauty and sea turtles crawl ashore here in July to lay their eggs. It is hard to think that this peaceful area was once the site of a Vietnamese refugee camp.

Most of these islands continue to be uninhabited but, luckily, on Pulau Sibu Besar, various resorts have open their doors, providing a tropical escape for those needing a break from city life.

On Sibu Island, there are the numerous outdoor activities, fishing trips being particularly popular. Scuba diving is also a good option as this area was designated a Marine Park in 1993 for the conservation of the marine life in the surrounding water. The lush tropical vegetation of Sibu is perfect for a bit of jungle trekking.

The panoramic sea views, the coral reefs and the white sandy beaches make Sibu a special place, where you can easily fall in love with. Have a peaceful, private holiday, enjoy some sea sports or just relax in paradise

Day 1

ARRIVE TANJUNG LEMAN JETTY - PULAU SIBU

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative at Tanjung Leman Jetty and be transferred to your resort by boat. Welcome drinks will be served upon arrival.
After check in, free at own leisure where you can relax on the sandy beach or take a swim in the sea. It is your choice.
PULAU SIBU (B)
After breakfast, free at own leisure where you can relax on the sandy beach or enjoy the complimentary activities provided by the resort. It is your choice.
DEPART PULAU SIBU (B)
After breakfast, free at own leisure until your transfer to Tanjung Leman Jetty.

Day 1

ARRIVE MERSING JETTY - PULAU PEMANGGIL (L, D)
You will be met on arrival by our representative at Mersing Jetty before being transferred to Pulau Pemanggil by boat.

Lunch is served after check in.

Free at own leisure where you can relax on the sandy beach or go for a swim.

Karaoke and indoor activities will begin after dinner.

Day 2

PULAU PEMANGGIL (B, L, D)
After breakfast, proceed for island hoping trip to Pulau Aur, Pulau Dayang and Pulau Tioman.

Lunch will be served at the Park. Free at own leisure upon returning to the resort.

After dinner, karaoke and indoor activities will commence.

Day 3

DEPART PULAU PEMANGGIL (B)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mersing Jetty by boat.

How to get there?

The Island can be reached by a scenic drive along the East coast or a swift flight, either by Air Asia, Malaysia Airlines or Firefly to Kuala Terengganu (TGG). Firefly now flies directly from Singapore to Kuala Terengganu. From the airport, a 30 – 40 minutes’ drive by road to Marang Jetty and then a 15 minutes boat ride to the private island resort.
